Quick Start
Create a plugin and run it inside a Motanamy app.
You need: Node.js 18 or later, and a code editor (VS Code is a good choice).
1. Install the Motanamy app
Install the app for the platform you're building for.
bash
wget -O - https://app.motanamy.com/MotanamyEA.sh | bashtext
Download the SA desktop app from:
https://motanamy.com/en/apps/SA#downloadbash
wget -O - https://app.motanamy.com/MotanamyOS.sh | bashbash
curl -fsSL https://app.motanamy.com/MotanamyOS.sh | bashpowershell
iex (irm https://app.motanamy.com/MotanamyOS.ps1)You can also download EA from motanamy.com/en/apps/EA.
EA default login
EA starts with the admin account admin@motanamy.com / 123456. Change the password after your first login.
2. Install the CLI
bash
npm install -g motanamy-cli
mot --version3. Create a plugin
bash
mot create my-plugin --type EA # or SA, OS
cd my-plugin4. Link the installed app
Tell the CLI where the app from step 1 is installed:
bash
mot link addRun mot link list to check your linked apps.
5. Run it
bash
mot devThis loads your plugin into the linked app so you can test it. Edit the files in 1.0.0/ and reload to see your changes.
6. Publish
When the plugin is ready, add your API token once, then publish:
bash
mot token add # get the token at core.motanamy.com → Settings
mot build # EA only: packages the plugin as a ZIP
mot publishSee Publish to Store for what the store requires.
